Mr. Nyanga I. Nyanga, a former President of our Club, will be laid to rest on Friday, July 26, 2024, in his hometown of Ikot Uso Ekong, Eket Local Government Area.
May his soul find eternal peace in the bosom of the Lord. Amen.
âď¸ Professorial Thanksgiving & 40th Birthday
Professor Essien Ekerette Akpanuko (Master) invites the Club to join him in a Thanksgiving celebration to honour God for his promotion to the rank of Professor of Accounting and for the blessed 40th birthday of his beloved wife, Mrs. Nelly Essien Akpanuko.
The Thanksgiving will be held on August 3rd at the Admiralty Event Center, Clement Isong Avenue, Uyo. A reminder will be sent to members as the event approaches.

Our beloved Sister, Eme Sam has been laid to rest. The ceremony was deeply emotional, as friends, colleagues, and family gathered to bid her a heartfelt farewell. We pray that God grants her family the strength and solace to endure this great loss. Amen.

The Club is grateful to Rt. Hon. Nyong for donating an OX standing fan for the members. The donation was executed through Prof. Imoh Moffat, HC, Ministry of Science and Technology.

Mr. Tijani Musa (Council Member) hosted the Club for the Eid-Kabir celebration, which featured sumptuous meals and drinks for merriment.
âď¸ Safe Delivery of a Baby Boy by Mrs Joy Thompson
We are delighted to congratulate Mrs. Joy Thompson, our former staff member, on the birth of her baby boy. Members generously donated four hundred thousand naira (#400,000), with three hundred thousand naira presented to her by the Vice-Chancellor.
The remaining one hundred thousand naira (#100,000.00) has been given to her to assist with bills and baby essentials. Both mother and son are doing well.
The Club wishes to express heartfelt thanks to all who contributed. May God bless and replenish your pockets. Amen.

The Tennis Section of the Club recently participated in a one-day tennis fiesta organized by SSICTA. The event, hosted by Uyo Club, was a fun-filled occasion enjoyed by all.
